Always There

This is an image that I did to go with a short story called 'The Light'. 20 x 30cm

Midnight Silverfish Around The Hot Freezer

These are a couple of images that I did for an A5 magazine called An Endless Supply. This magazine consisted of lots of different short stories that were written in response to the initial story, 'Midnight Silverfish Around The Hot Freezer', which was printed on the cover.

Articles 13. & 14. of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights

Article 13.1. Everyone has the right to freedom of movement and residence within the borders of each state.
13.2. Everyone has the right to leave any country, including his own, and to return to his country.

Article 14.1. Everyone has the right to seek and to enjoy in other countries asylum from persecution.

I was asked to make a placard celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. My print was made to be folded in half so that if it was used you would see a sea of hands reaching up for something or someone. http://www.flickr.com/photos/zara-arshad
I'm on page 2 at the moment.

Mutanabbi Street

I was asked to make a limited edition print based on a car bomb that exploded on Mutanabbi Street in Baghdad on 5th March 2007. Mutanabbi Street was famous for it's bookshops and cafes and was where the Iraqi literary and intellectual community would meet.

My print along with many others will eventually be sold to raise money for the charity 'Doctors Without Borders'.
